Take a time to write something on my guestbook. Like; You're soooo coool... :P

Completed!

So... It's all done my friends. After over 4 months of work, I realized that completing %99 of an animation only the one half of the work.

You got to decide what you want, what do you want it to be look like when you "finished" it, and "how" do you do it. I really didn't think about "how?" part before I started making this short animation. Because this is going to be my first real attempt to make a short animation. So it was a challange for me. I was in no rush, it was like "let's see if I could do that..." then "Oh that looks cool!" type of work. 3DSMAX bone system, rigging, skinning, particles, I've used all of them in one project and I got lots of experience point this way. And, there is another thing; know your "current" limits. I mean, almost everything can be done with 3D Studio Max. As well as other 3D Applications like Softimage, Maya, or Lightwave. But

don't expect to create everything in your mind with just a few clicks. It's like RPG games. You know, you got to slash little rats to gain experience points a little while. After you got enough exp point, you could use more powerfull weapons, after that you gain more experience, then more, more, and then you become so powerfull that facing agains Huge Dragons. Well... CG works the same way for me. :) You got to gain experience points before slaying big monsters... I mean big polygons heh heh.

But don't forget to play. Create something that gives you fun. Like I did. It was like creating your own movie. But if it's starting to get boring, don't push yourself hard. Just do it, forget about perfection. I'm saying this because I do the opposite. I started to push myself hard when I completed %75 of the animation. Then suddenly I said to myself "what am I doing? This meant to be fun" Well... it won't work that way. You got to drive your work to the fun. Because nobody can create something he/she doesn't know, and if you try to make something you don't know, it gives you no fun! Remember my RPG Example. :)

Thank you all my friends. I really enjoy doing this, and I hope you enjoy watching it. (I always wanted to say that heh heh heh)

Here is the download link. It is 10mb and you need to have Divx 5.02 codec to watch it.
